WILD CARD: Anderson Silva vs. Luke Rockhold
The welterweight champion and Olympic gold medalist, who was scheduled to defend his middleweight crown in the UFC 194 main event, fell into a back corner on an uppercut, allowing Dan Henderson to get in close to put the challenger away with a couple knees. Rockhold countered with a hard right hook that caused him to lose the position he had been chasing for most of the fight, then went to the ground.
Henderson, who won the main event of UFC 196 by knockout with a right hand on March 2, was inching closer to a victory when he went for an armbar takedown of Henderson. The Brazilian looked to have taken the win, but the submission didn't come easily, as Henderson got back up just in time to keep him in the fight.
Rockhold looked to have won the first two rounds, but the third came quickly to the Brazilian's relief, with Henderson landing two quick knees to take the fight to the ground.
Featuring two lightweights, the UFC 198 event is the latest in a line of lightweight events which have taken place in China, in preparation for the 2016 Olympics.

Energex resignation fails to deter beattie from targeting
By James Macpherson
In January 2014 the Liberal Democrat peer, Peter Beattie, announced his resignation from the parliament over his views on religion.
In an open letter to MPs he said there should be no involvement of religion in politics, and warned against the growth of fundamentalism in the UK.
Beattie's resignation was met with a storm of ridicule from some MPs, who accused him of making a career out of making anti-gay remarks, but he went on to win praise from his party colleagues.
